If you ever have the need to find some level of inner peace, I highly suggest going to Japan and visiting the numerous temples strewn throughout the country. The perfect blend of properly thought out manmade structures juxtaposed with their often times natural settings are an easy example of man and nature being able to live as one. No matter what you believe in, I can assure you that walking under hundreds of orange tori gates, surrounded by the sounds, smells, and sights of the encircling forest, as the rising sun causes beams of light to form through the misty canopy will be one of those few moments in life that will stick with you forever.
