I’m one of those people that believe that animals can sometimes be more “human” than most humans. Every creature on this planet has its own story to tell, shaping it to become who or what it is. I try to respect the individual moment that I capture a brief part of their life with my camera as just that—a moment in their story, that becomes intertwined with my own journey. Regardless of the challenge associated with getting that “perfect” shot of a wild animal (another reason I truly enjoy wildlife photography), I always do my best to represent them in a way that showcases their uniqueness, mystique, and individuality.
